Although Cutie Pa Tutus is a relatively small company, we believe that everyone, big and small, should do what they can to give back to the community. We don't have cash to contribute, but we do have our skills. Cutie Pa Tutus has donated many tutus and super hero capes to various organizations over the years, including the MDA, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, and various schools & other charitable organizations.

This month we sent around 30 tutus to the children of Kids Wish Network; hopefully it'll help make their Christmases merry. We wish we could do so much more...we'll be working on some Super Hero capes to send soon. The great folks at Kids Wish Network just emailed us and gave us this wonderful badge, which we're going to cherish! Thank you, Kids Wish Network, for this and for all you do for those wonderful children who need you so much!

Thank you, Tot Trends Weekly, for including our cute Kitty Cat outfit in your costume review this past October!! We're so flattered and glad that you love it as much as we do! Our Black Kitty Cat has been one of our most popular costumes, and we've seen LOTS of great pics of little cuties in them! LOVE!

6/30/2011 We LOVE rock star P!nk! So much so, that when she ordered some Personalized Super Hero Capes for her nieces for Christmas, we decided to send some treats along for little soon-to-be Willow! P!nk loved our stuff soo much she gave us some MAD PROPS on Twitter. Check out what she had to say in her Tweets (right box) and take a look at the Cutie Pa Tutu Onesie that we designed along with our friends at Kota Couture. Little Willow also got her very own baby-sized hot pink Super Hero cape! We'll be waiting with baited breath to watch Willow save the world...in a few years :)

6/15/2011 Oh gosh!! We just got news that CutieP's founder, Amanda Moreno Duke, is in the running to appear on the hit ABC entrepreneurial show, Shark Tank!! The casting director told us that Amanda's through rounds 1 & 2 for casting and is on to the 3rd round...woohoo!!! Fingers crossed; what a miracle it would be if Amanda could get the chance to get in front of the Sharks!

10/11/2010: Named People Magazine's MINI MUST-HAVE! Camila Alves spotted with daughter Vida (also daughter of an actor you may have heard of, Matthew McConoughey) spotted taking a stroll with our Once Upon a Time Pa Tutu on a beautiful October day. Check out the very sweet thank you note we received from Camila and the pic of the adorable Vida! 10/6/2010: This month's issue of Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine features products from Cutie Pa Tutus!! We're so excited!! Thanks for the love, Pregnancy & Newborn...!! The article is titled "All Dressed Up" and features trick or treat costumes suitable for infants & toddlers. You can get Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine in bookstores everywhere, like Barnes & Noble, Borders, Babies-R-Us and more!

7/1/2010: If you watch a lot of television, you may have seen the Mutual of Omaha's "My Aha Moment" commercials. Even I've seen them, and I usually fast-forward through commercials on my DVR. When they contacted me and invited me to share my "aha moment," my jaw hit the floor. Come to find out, they were touring the country interviewing people they thought had interesting stories from coast to coast. Although I hate seeing myself on camera (or hearing myself), I thought this would be a good way to promote Cutie Pa Tutus. Unfortunately, I became so wracked with nerves during shooting that I completely forgot to mention the company name. And for some reason unbeknownst to me, I got all choked up telling my story. 6/2010: James Girone is one of the widely recognized experts in the children's apparel industry, and he runs a feature on his website (www.jamesgirone.com) called 'Project Runway' in which he spotlights favorite products of his and his editors. Cutie Pa Tutus and Kota Couture were featured in March for our Pa Tutu Outfits (they used the photo of Andie in the Rockin Guitars outfit). In June we were once again featured for our Special Occasion Tutu Dresses. We LOVE their description of them: "This elegant new twist on the flower girl dress has the ethereal quality of a Degas dancer with the ease of a comfy T-shirt." WOW! Thanks, James, Tina & Marylin! We love you guys!!

6/1/2010: As if being featured in their Thursdays Unrwapped e-newsletter wasn't enough, we were also featured in the June edition of Earnshaw's magazine! Yay, our first time in a national printed publication!! Thanks for the love, Earnshaw's! Now we really feel like we have "arrived"!

5/20/2010: Earnshaw's Daily featured our Tee-Tu's in their May 20th edition of Thursays Unwrapped! We were so thrilled to open up our email and see little Andie's face (and huge Pixie Tail, ahem!)! The article notes that our Tee-Tu's have brought "the fun of tutus to T-Shirts with Tee-Tu's." The only thing better would have been if they'd had a chance to mention Kota Couture, since we're partners in our beautiful Tee-Tu's! We'll be sure to remind them next time.

3/24/2010: Cutie founder Amanda Moreno Duke was selected as a Forty Under 40 Winner by the Charleston Regional Business Journal! To quote the Journal, "the annual celebration event fetes the professional successes and community involvement of 40 people younger than 40 years old who are making their mark on the region's business community." We can't express how truly flattered and proud we are to receive this distinguishing recognition. Read more about it here (hint: look under the "M's" for Amanda's maiden name).

2/15/2010: Cutie Pa Tutus was featured in JamesGirone.com's Project Runway section!! As most children's retailers know, JamesGirone.com is the "bible" of children's apparel, accessories and toys; if you get the stamp of approval from James, you're in VERY good company! We are beyond excited to get a "nod" from James and his experts, Tina Barry and Marilyn Kirschner!

 2/14/2010: Tot Trends Weekly showed us more love by featuring Cutie Pa Tutus in their Make Mine Chocolate edition!! Our Christina Pa Tutu outfit was chosen as a favorite "yummy rich brown" outfit of theirs. We love you, Tot Trends!!

2/4/2010: What an honor! Amanda Moreno Duke, Owner/Designer of Cutie Pa Tutus, has been selected as one of the winners of the Power Up: Inspire Others Contest hosted by the Women in Business Conference in Charleston, SC! Amanda will attend the WIB Conference on Friday, February 12 to be acknowledged as an inspiring businesswoman by the Committee, and we couldn't be more thrilled!

We don't know if it was intentional or not, but our personalized super hero capes were at the top of the list! Tot Trends Weekly is a VERY well known publication in the chidren's apparel world, and to be featured by them is a huge honor. Thanks, Tot Trends!

We waited a long time for the air date, but we finally got one! Big thanks to Phyllis at Baby Swags for giving us our chance to get in front of a national audience! Woohoo!

Cutie Pa Tutus is honored to have been asked to participate in the 2009 Theatre Under the Stars Gala in Houston, TX. The Gala will be held in April 2009.
